Jay's new Salsa Intensive Series is the best way to maximize your potential on the dance floor!
This series is designed for both beginners and experienced dancers who want to quickly enhance their fundamentals and improve their musicality, technique, body movement and styling. Students will establish a solid base of fundamental steps and turn patterns and learn to execute them on all the major Salsa rhythms (including the tumbao, clave, etc.)
Jay has over a decade of experience traveling and teaching Latin dance across the world. His technique is rooted in Eddie Torres' New York style and his travels training across the US, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. His infectious personality and obsessive attention to detail have led to world-renown as an instructor across the Salsa and Bachata circuits.
The series consists of 6 two-hour classes across six consecutive weeks (in the event of a holiday or major conflict, the 6 classes may extend to 7 weeks). Any classes missed for personal reasons will not be reimbursed or eligible to be made up at a separate time.
This intensive series works best when combined with both regular group classes and social practice - that way, students maximize their retention and recall of class material.
