DFW Salsa & Bachata in Dallas
So this past weekend was the Houston Salsa Congress! It was such a well put together Congress! The performances were top notch, as well and the line of instructors was incredible! The social dancing was a thing of dreams! Just because it's a Salsa Congress doesn't mean that it was all Salsa. The Bachata and Kizomba rooms were packed all night with some of the best dancers from all around the world! I even saw Dallas, Plano, Addison, Arlington, Richardson and surrounding areas representing!! Makes a poppa proud to see dancers taking classes and Private lessons to perfect their craft! My only regret was when it ended! I guess we will Just have wait till next year!

So 2018 Is here, and it's going to be a great year!! Have you accomplished your Salsa and Bachata dancing goals yet? I am already off to a great start. I spent New Years teaching Salsa and Bachata for the first time in the Dominican Republic!! It was an amazing trip, and I was very well received! I am already looking to go back and teach in March! The Culture and Heritage of the people of the Dominican Republic is Intoxicating!! Being the birthplace of Bachata I wasn't expect the Salsa dancing to be as good as it was! Grade "A" dancers! As much as I enjoy teaching, I also love being in the student role. I learned so much. The style and the inflection that the Dominicans place into the dance is amazing! There dance is still heavily infused with Africa! I felt so honored to teach and learn there. I can't wait for my next adventure!!!

Happy Holidays! I am excited about this time of the year!! All of the colors lights and sounds of Christmas time! Everyone is so festive and loving. Then we put the year to a close, and welcome in 2016! This year for a New Years resolution try to me the best possible dancer you can be! I am here to help with Latin dance classes!
