Biography

Growing up in Midland, West Texas, Jay Stylz used his knowledge of Martial Arts to develop his Salsa skills. Jay was first introduced to Salsa in 2002 in Dallas at club “Monica’s”. In 2003 he auditioned for Salsa Passion Dance Company and was part of the team for 2 ½ years. During that time he performed in numerous cities throughout the US.

 

If Ain’t Sexy… Don’t Do It!

After leaving Salsa Passion Jay got together with Jenny Marcano “The German Chocolate” and began intensive Salsa training to prep her for performing Since summer 2006, Jay Stylz and Jenny have traveled across the country to perform and teach workshops for hundreds of people, appeared in numerous television and news spots, and also progressing their classes in Dallas. Jay’s dance- and teaching-style is an interesting blend of body isolations, salsa, afro-cuban and just the right touch of sex appeal.
